Traffic on highways and roads is minimal, the nearest airport is about ten miles away, and if you want to see the coastline to catch some sun, it’s only about two hours away! The temperature and climate in the region are moderate and comfortable for most people—no matter where you’re moving from.

There is so much to enjoy in the area—from the Blue Grass Drive-In Theater to visiting Buffalo Shores or the Clark’s Ferry Recreation Area. Burlington by the Book is the perfect place to stop before heading out on Historic U.S. Route 6 to take in the views and breathtaking rock formations that are featured throughout the region, and planning your move around the Great Mississippi Valley Fair is definitely recommended.
